Updated July 2011....No planned breedings.

Contracts and Purchase agreements to be aware of.

Show contracts..No breeder can guarantee that a puppy will be show potential.

Beware of conditional sale contracts. If you are paying $2500.00 for a registered mastiff why should you have to give back a puppy if you breed your dog?  Why do you have to supply free breeding rights from your male dog to the breeder?  Your breeder should only request that you fully health test your mastiff at the age of 2 and send them the results.  I do believe that you should show your dog in the ring to learn what faults that he/she has.  There is nothing worse than a breeder that is "Kennel Blind."

Health guarantees... Some breeders require that you return your beloved pet if it has health problems at the age of two for an exchange from another litter.  Who would really want to give up a family member?  Would you really want another dog from this breeder?

Please do your research before purchasing your mastiff.  Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions and ask for references from previous puppy buyers. Ask to see all health testing don't take their word about the dogs testings. Visit their homes. If you don't like what you see, hear or what you read "Walk Away".

Never buy a mastiff from a breeder who doesn't register their  purebred puppies or requests additional funds to register them.
